Rules

Registration closes at 5pm 24 March 2018 AEDT (GMT+11)

Players must be in the Australian Anime Fighting Game Community Discord server during the tournament. Please tune into the #netplay-pc channel.

Please sign up with the same name you'll use on that Discord.

Matches start at 6pm 24 March 2018 AEDT (GMT+11)

The tournament is double-elimination. Matches consist of best-of-3 sets. Sets are best-of-3 rounds with a 99 second time limit.

The top 3 players fight 5 sets instead of 3.

Matches are held a password-protected player room. Participants will be asked to join the room to play their match and may be asked to leave at its conclusion to make space for the next match.

Upon completion of a match, the winner reports their victory in Discord, listing participants and score.

e.g. HybriDefiant vs Flower 2-1

   or Flower vs HybriDefiant 1-2

   or HybriDefiant won against Flower 2-1

This and future tournaments I run will be seeded when possible.

Other Rules and Arbitration (stuff I hopefully never have to go into)

• Participants who don't attend their designated matches are disqualified 10 minutes after the match is announced. No-shows are to be reported to HybriDefiant to be verified.
  
• In the case of win disputes, replays are to be submitted to HybriDefiant for review. Replays are found in GUILTY GEAR Xrd -REVELATOR-\SAVE\REPLAY.
  
• Poor internet connection is grounds for disqualification. Participants with poor connection can be reported to HybriDefiant. If a participant acquires 2 strikes for bad connection, they are required to enter a game with HybriDefiant, who will decide if the connection is poor enough to warrant disqualification.
• Participants with a 0 connection are automatically disqualified.
  
• Abuse is strictly not tolerated and should be reported to HybriDefiant. Perpetrators will be disqualified. Trash talk is okay but harassing someone after they ask you to stop isn't.
• In the case of 8 or fewer participants, the format may be changed from Double Elimination to Round Robin by majority vote.
  
• All other issues are resolved at HybriDefiant's discretion.
